about us aquaphine - The history of Berlin's largest private swimming school The company aquaphine was founded by Josephine Krause in summer 2008 as a sole proprietorship and started with baby and toddler swimming courses as well as aqua fitness courses for pregnant women with various organizers in the first six months. Due to the very good customer response, aquaphine decided in autumn 2008 to independently offer its own swimming courses for babies and toddlers. The Park-Klinik Weißensee could be won as a partner. The special thing about our courses from the start was that all weekend swimming courses were held in the water with both parents if requested. The concept “ Experience water together ”, which also includes course support in the swimming pool by trained specialists, has proven to be very successful to this day. In addition, aquaphine stands for a varied course design and the use of high quality exercise materials. Thanks to high demand, we have been able to expand our range of courses over the years - both in terms of the number of courses and the range of courses on offer. We have supplemented the family courses on weekends with weekday courses with just one parent. There were also courses to learn how to swim to acquire the seahorse, sibling courses in which both parents and their children are in the water at different ages, and aqua fitness courses for pregnant women. In addition to the advanced swimming courses for children who have already received the seahorse badge, we also offer swimming courses for adults. Our range of “classic” aqua fitness courses for adults was very well received from the start. In order to better cater to the needs of different age groups, we have been offering AquaSporty courses (for people from 16 to 50) and AquaSenior courses (from 50+) for some time. Today our swimming school is a popular address for people of almost all ages. From 2009 aquaphine was able to expand the range of courses to other Berlin pools . As new sites u were. A. the Vivantes Clinic in Friedrichshain and the Accident Hospital Berlin in Biesdorf were added. Due to the high demand at the Weißensee location and the fact that the available water times of the swimming pool in the Park Clinic were already fully utilized, we decided to build our own swimming pool in north-east Berlin. The opening of the " JUNO " at its first location in Orankesee will take place in April 2011, but had to be closed again after one year of use due to structural defects. In a very short time, however, we managed to find a more suitable and conveniently located property. The new JUNO opened on June 1, 2012 and is located at Erich-Weinert-Straße 145 in a central location in the Prenzlauer Berg district. Thanks to the positive feedback from our customers, aquaphine is now the largest private swimming school in Berlin. We currently run more than 100 courses per week with over 1000 participants in total. Despite the size, the individual support of our customers is still the focus of our daily work. We owe this not only to our highly qualified and very committed team , but also to you, dear swimming enthusiasts, who have been loyal to us for many years and your attentive - gladly also critical feedback.
