Qingdao Jiaozhou Central Hospital was established in 1943. It was formerly the Eighth Route Army Binbei Cadre Retreat. It has a history of more than 70 years. It is a comprehensive hospital integrating medical treatment, prevention, teaching, scientific research, rehabilitation, and community services. The National Health Commission is directly under the tertiary and second-level hospitals and is also the only tertiary general hospital in Jiaozhou. The hospital is the Affiliated Hospital of Weifang Medical College, the Teaching Hospital of Qingdao University Medical College, and the graduate education base of Weifang Medical College. Qingdao Endoscopic Surgery Center, Qingdao Anti-Cancer Association Colorectal Tumor Professional Committee, Jiaozhou Anti-Cancer Association and Judicial Appraisal Institute are all located in the hospital.
