SOHO started in 2011 back in the days when the Principal Architect Suhail A.K started practicing independently, as a small office at home, which gave the comfort of home space with the flexibility of work space. When the firm expanded in 2016, the small office home office perception stuck and is hence abbreviated to SOHO. At SOHO, we believe in the profound sense of people and place, surroundings and culture, techniques and materials. There are no hard cut design philosophies we adhere by, but our design values evolve depending upon the nature of being, geography of the place and how occupants address it. We believe that the true essence of architecture lies in the collective holistic approach. Our concern lies in how to claim the space and how each project is responsive to its place, time and individual. This translates every one of our commissions unique and diverse as its users.
