Astra Welab Digital Arta (AWDA), founded in April 2018, is a joint venture company between PT Sedaya Multi Investama which is a subsidiary of PT Astra International tbk and WeLab. AWDA is a fintech (financial technology) company that uses big data and machine learning to provide credit scores and loan approvals quickly and with quality. AWDA operates in Indonesia based on OJK Regulation no 77 / POJK.01 / 2016 concerning information technology-based lending and borrowing services. AWDA collaborates with a large technology company, WeLab which is one of the largest fintech companies in Hong Kong and China. AWDA aspires to contribute to expanding financial literacy and inclusion in Indonesia, by providing opportunities for consumers in Indonesia to realize their dreams through easy-to-reach credit. AWDA has strategic partnerships with financial institutions to be able to provide flexible cash loans without collateral to customers.
